In this video, I will show you how to embed videos from media hopper create into a Xerte Online ToolKit project using two different page templates. First of all, Login to Media Hopper Create. Locate the video that you want to use. Click on the video. Select the Share tab. Select embed, copy the embed code. You can either right-click copy or you can Control-C to copy the code. I'll first of all, start by creating a new project. The editor will automatically open. Then go to the plus icon and select text, plain text. Enter a title for the page. Going to clear the text in the page text area. Expand the toolbar, click on Source, paste the embed code from Media Hopper Create. Click on Source, and you'll see the iframe has been embedded. If we view this, the video can be played within the Xerte Online Toolkit or the user can click on full screen. To exit. The user clicks on the escape key, which returns them to the Xerte Online Toolkit. The second way to embed video from media hopper create is to use the media video page. Select the Insert icon. Click on media and select video. Enter a title for the page. Enter any page text. Decide on the alignment of the text. And then where it says file. You want to paste the embed code directly into there. Add a description for accessibility. Click on publish and play. There are some optional properties that you can add to this page template. You can add a transcript. And you would just paste the text into here. Click on play, and the transcript appears underneath the video. One noticeable difference between the plain text and the media video page is the way in which the video changes, depending on the size of the Xerte project. In this example, the Xerte project is displayed full screen on a standard university laptop. If I then adjust the size of the plain text, you'll notice that the video doesn't change its size. If I moved to the Media video page, you'll notice that depending on the size of the actual project, the video will adjust accordingly. So this page is more responsive.
