[edit] Adobe Flex 3 Application Framework

The CVF (Collaborative Video Framework) is an application framework for building collaborative interactive video RIAs using Adobe Flex 3 utilizing the Kaltura platform.

  1. The SDL, the Sequence Description Language is an XML description of a Kaltura video. The CVF parses and builds the SDL to create collaborative Kaltura videos.

[edit] Adobe Flex 3 Applications

Flex 3 Applications that utilize the Kaltura platform:

  1. Kaltura Dynamic Player, a dynamic UI player that uses the CVF to play and interact with Kaltura videos.
  2. Simple Editor, a video editing application that is built on top of the CVF and can perform all editing capabilities, such as trimming, adding transitions, soundtracks, effects etc. (Done not include overlays and soundtrack timeline editing, which can be found in the Kaltura advanced editor).
  3. Contributor Wizard, an asset contribution wizard used for adding content from the multiple sources in the Kaltura Network to collaborative videos.
