(6.2) Feedback and Assessment in CBME: R2C2 Model - Evidence-Informed Assessment Model

Competency-based medical education (CBME) has the potential to realign medical education to more effectively prepare physicians to meet the needs of patients and populations. However, one of the main challenges that medical educators worldwide face is providing effective assessment feedback and coaching for residents that enables their optimal development and steady progression. During this webinar, the presenters will discuss the role which feedback and coaching play in a competency-based education model, describe the components of the R2C2 model and how it can be implemented, and the theory and research that created the R2C2 model for progress discussions with residents.
