Few on-line movements have garnered more media attention since the dawn of the 21st century than wiki-collaboration projects. Wikimedia's free-knowledge projects are the subjects of speculation, criticism, and celebration by almost all forms of media around the world. This brief talk and QA session will introduce some basic media outreach techniques that wiki project representatives can use to tell their story more effectively and increase the quality and accuracy of main stream and new media opportunities.
