Creating Collaborative Videos

From Devwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

In order to start a collaborative video on any wiki page, simply click on the "Add Video" link in the toolbox. Alternatively, you can click on the "Add Video" button on the editing toolbar within any wiki page. Next, you will fill out a short form about the video, select the size and placement of the widget. If you add the video using the button, the tag will be inserted automatically to the page. If you add the video using the link in the toolbox, you will get a video tag at the end of the process. You can copy the tag and paste it in any page. Then, anyone with editing permissions can add images, videos and sounds to this video and edit it directly from the player that was created. To get the collaborative video started, you are encouraged to add videos, images or sounds to it.

All further contributions and edits to the collaborative video are done directly from the video player itself on the wiki page.
