Community Collaboration

This workshop will explore how Wikimedians and free culture supporters/activists can best collaborate around the world. Wikimedians often have strong communities in places where the free culture movement isn't as developed, and freeculturites have access to campuses and communities where they can promote Wikimedia projects. Using examples of previous work and future possibilities, we will examine how these often distinct but overlapping communities can find ways to synergize and foster the global spread of free knowledge and open content.
